I'm so excited to be sharing this with you! Seriously. This is me right now:
I started writing Broken in Silence for National Novel Writing Month last year. Uh, I didn't finish NaNoWriMo *raises fist at life*, but I did manage to write 30k in one month which was a record for me. My debut Alpha's Bane took me a year to write, whereas I managed to finish writing BiS within two months. How did I manage to do that this time around? Truthfully, I stopped editing everything I'd just written, and instead focused on getting the first draft completed before editing.
Write, then edit. I can't stress that enough. It took me a while to understand it, but honestly, if you focus on writing and then editing, you'll have written your book. Every first draft is going to look crappy to you, but no matter how rough your first draft is, it's still a first draft! And it's written—yay!
I'll be continuing my Twin City series, which will be MF and each of the books can be read as standalones. However, I'm super excited to be stepping into the LGBT genre. I've always been a huge fan of MM, but words cannot describe how thrilled I am to have stepped into this genre. The authors are so welcoming and lovely, and the readers are super supportive that I can't even begin to express how thankful I am to them all.
Besides, MM is life!

Alex tried to dismiss the scent crawling up his nose and down his trachea, but with Tanner so near to him, he could think of only him and how his world utterly immersed Alex with a simple gaze. An effortless tilt of his head, a brush of Alex’s cheek, and he became undone.
“What’re you doin’, old man? Gimme some space already, jeez.”
